My dream is having an open source version of the software that automatically backs up all my playlists weekly and obviously only downloads the songs that dont already exist on harddrive. So yeah, so far so good but what annoys me about the software is that it is really expensive (you can torrent it though) but first and foremost it is impossible to make automatic backups and it is unable to detect whether songs were already downloaded and downloads them another time. Oh and it also does that in roughly 5x the playback speed, so Im pretty sure it is not simply recording the sound. Anyway, I found the software TunesKit Spotify that somehow is able to save Spotify in 320kbps (I checked using the software Spek that the frequency cuts off at 20kHz for the downloaded songs).
Hi, I'm really interested in backing up my spotify playlists because sometimes songs become unavailable on spotify and I believe that in the future this will happen way more often.
